Do I need to attend both days?
Yes. The approved credit hours are for completion of both days. A written evaluation will be required.

What do I receive?
Each nursing student will receive a certificate that states the date, location, course name, student name, and CE units approved by the ANCC.

Who approved CNHP?
The Michigan Nurses Association approves two classes (Practical Herbology and Clinical Aromatherapy). The American Holistic Nurses Association is approving all other classes.

When will the other classes be approved?
They are working fervently at getting all classes approved. Because of the amount of paperwork involved and the number of courses CNHP offers, we expect approval of most classes within 2 months.

Can I get credit for taking the class prior to the approval date?
No. The ANCC states that there shall be no retroactive credit for any course.

Do I need to wait until it comes to my state?
Generally, no. Check with your state requirements to be certain (visit the website http://www.ncsbn.org/ for specific details for each state). You may also check this website for those who may apply for CE Units.
